Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced that its sales in July hit 5,045 units, the highest monthly record in the company's history.
   
The numbers showed an impressive recovery from the production halt in Thailand due to last years floods.

According to is managing director and CEO Yoichiro Ueno, the robust sales was mainly due to the sales of its new City and all new Civic.

The newly face lifted City recorded sales of 2,217 units accounting for 44 per cent of the total sales for July.

This year alone, Honda introduced eight new models.

They include the Jazz Hybrid, face lifted City, CRZ CVT, Civic Hybrid and New Jazz S.
