The country's economy is expected to remain buoyant in the second half of the year driven by strong domestic demand.
According to the Statistics Department, among the main drivers of growth are the Government Transformation Programme and the Economic Transformation Programme.
The services sector is also expected to remain the biggest contributor to the country's GDP.
In the first quarter of the year, the services sector contributed 54.2 per cent to the GDP, while the manufacturing sector contributed about 20 per cent.
