The Manchester Unity Building in Melbourne has opened its doors for public viewing.

The neo gothic skyscraper, built in 1932 during the Great Depression, was just one of over a hundred historic buildings to welcome viewers as part of the annual Melbourne Open House.

The event allows locals and tourists to experience architectural design, engineering and history-all for free.
