• TWO STORMS SPAWN NINE WATERSPOUTS ON LAKE MICHIGAN

    The US National Weather Service said nine waterspouts have formed over Lake Michigan from two storms.

    Though waterspouts are relatively rare, meteorologists said it was a right combination of cold and warm temperatures converging over the area, along with a line of storms for the type of vortex to occur.
