13 motorcycles, a car and a lorry were destroyed in a fire, believed to have been due to arson, at the Sungai Bonus PPR flats in Kuala Lumpur, early this morning.
In the 3.30am incident, residents who were fast asleep, were awaken by a loud explosion outside the building, and discovered the vehicles ablaze.
Firefighters managed to douse the flames within 10 minutes.
The losses incurred have yet to ascertained.
Meanwhile, police have set up a special team to track down the arsonists.
According to KL deputy CID chief, Assistant Commissioner Khairy Ahrasa, based on witnesses accounts, the suspects were two men on a motorcycle.
Police have also found traces of petrol, believed to be from the Molotov cocktails, used by the suspects to set the vehicles ablaze.
