    8 May 2013, 05:52pm BY SYARIFAH RAHMAN

In Kedah, police have issued a warning against any group planning to organise illegal gatherings to protest against the GE-13 results.

State police chief Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim said action will be taken against the organisers and participants under Section 9 of the Peaceful Assembly Act.

He explained the planned gathering in Kedah was connected to the opposition's "Suara Rakyat Suara Keramat" rally in Kelana Jaya, tonight.

Police have also identified some of the protesters in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

They were seen gathering in a small group at a shopping mall yesterday wearing black clothing and covering their mouths as a sign of protest.
