A row of four furniture factories in Ipoh were destroyed in a fire early this morning, with losses amounting to millions of ringgit.

The 6.20am incident occured at Lahat Industrial Area near Ipoh, Perak.

As the blaze spread rapidly due to dry weather, firemen took about 30 minutes to control the flames and nearly 2 hours to put out the fire.

Fortunately, there were no casualties reported and the cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained.
