Two brothers were among four drug traffickers handed the death penalty by the Kuala Lumpur High Court today for trafficking 22 kilogrammes of cannabis three years ago.

Judge Datuk Asmabi Mohamad when sentencing the four said the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubt against the prosecution's charges.

In his judgement, he ruled that the defence's denial had also been fabricated.

The accused are 42 year old Badrul Hisham Kamaruddin, his brother Mohd Amirul, 24, Syed Mohamad Anis Alkaff Syed Osman, 55, and Azhar Ali, 47.

All four were charged with committing the offence in front of an aluminum factory at Jalan TUDM, Petaling Jaya on February 21st, 2009.
