Some 40 students and HELP University staff shaved their heads today as a show of solidarity for cancer patients.
The event, in conjunction with the National Cancer Council, MAKNA's Jom Botak Cancer Campaign, aims to raise awareness of the patients' suffering.
In showing their support for the campaign, the students and staff of HELP University, shaved their head at their campus this monring.
The students had also began a week long donation drive in hopes of raising 10 thousand ringgit for MAKNA.
Through this campaign, MAKNA is hoping to raise 500 thousand ringgit to aid financially challenged cancer patients.
The fund-raising campaign, which kicked off on June 1st will end on August 14th, where a special closing ceremony will be held at the Curve Damansara.

Once you register you will need to print out the reply slip and bring it to any A Cut Above salon in the Klang Valley where you will get your head shaved for free.
