• PORT KLANG, TANJUNG MALIM RECORD UNHEALTHY API LEVELS

    The haze has returned to peninsular Malaysia with Port Klang and Tanjung Malim in Perak recording unhealthy Air Pollutant Index, API levels.

    According to the Department of Environment, Tanjung Malim recorded a reading of 122, while Port Klang recorded an API of 109 as at 5pm today.

    37 other areas recorded moderate API readings of more than 50.

    These include Petaling Jaya which recorded an API of 73, Banting, 84, Nilai, 78 and Cheras, 80.

    Other areas have good air quality readings.
