The rise and fall in share prices of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd FGV on Bursa Malaysia is normal.
Felda Group Chairman, Tan Sri Isa Samad said settlers and other shareholders had been advised of this situation.
He was also confident that their own confidence in FGV will not be affected as a result of any fall in the share price.
He added that the recent dip in the FGV share price to the 5 ringgit level was influenced by the recent decline in the global price of palm oil, which also affected other plantation companies.
He commented that the regional market is expected to rebound next week and at the same time, this positive development, will influence the FGV share price.
He was speaking to reporters after a FGV breaking fast event with orphans last night.
