A pregnant woman had a close shave when she mistaken a cobra for a rubber hose.

The woman who is 6 months pregnant, was taking her ablution in the bath room at 9pm when she noticed what looked like a rubber hose behind the water container.

Fortunately, Faridah realised in the nick of time that it was a snake and rushed out to call her husband.

The incident happened at her house in kampung Wakaf Gomok, Tepoh,Terengganu.

Mat Lazim later called the Civil Defence Department to help catch the cobra.
