Seven of Cameroon's Olympic competitors have disappeared from their official residence.

The head of mission for Team Cameroon said the five boxers, a swimmer and a female football player had left the athletes' village over the weekend, and had not returned.

According to Scotland Yard the case is being investigated but there is currently no verifucation on the missing athletes.
