Fish and Chips with Tartar Sauce

 

Ingredients
Preparation

4 x 150 grams fish fillet
200 grams self raising flour
2 cloves minced garlic
1 liter water
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter
A pinch of salt
A pinch of white pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Tartar Sauce
300 grams mayonnaise
1 boiled eggs, minced
100 grams gherkin, minced
2 red onions, minced
A pinch of salt
A pinch of white pepper

Marinade the fish together with lemon

juice, salt and white pepper.

Prepare the batter by mixing together

flour, garlic, water, egg and butter.

Dip in the fish into the batter and fry with hot oil.

Tartar Sauce
Mix together all the ingredients and serve with the fish, French fries and fresh salad.
